Exit Strategy Brewing is the love child of Chris and Katherine Valleau. Located in the heart of Forest Park, ESBC is a fully functional brewery and kitchen. They use locally sourced, hand-crafted provisions. They brew an all ale portfolio and take their beer very seriously. So seriously, that both of the owners of Exit Strategy left their “real” jobs to create and operate Forest Park’s first and only brewery. The Valleaus are huge supports of the craft movement sweeping the beer.
A classic corner hangout with wood bar and large outdoor patio, Fatduck Tavern and Grill is known for its duck fat fries, creative pub food and craft beer. Experience the inventive cuisine, attentive service and a friendly atmosphere.
Located in Forest Park since 1969,
The Golden Steer Steakhouse is an old-school neighborhood chop house providing excellent steaks, chops and ribs as well as other classically prepared dishes. Don’t pass up their world-famous French onion soup. Not to be missed.
Healy’s was founded in 1954 by Mike Healy Sr. Mike was an Irish immigrant who brought with him his love of Irish hospitality and strong work ethic, both of which he passed on to his sons Dick and Terry who followed in their father’s footsteps and opened Healy’s Westside in Forest Park in 1995. Along with Mark Hosty, the two brothers moved to their current location in 2003 to Circle and Madison in the heart of downtown Forest Park. In that same year they expanded to open Cocina Lobos, Forest Park’s first and most authentic Mexican restaurant.
